It was a bit chilly outside, but the mood was warm as we unveiled this new ceramic, glass, and stone mosaic on the gate at Street Health yesterday afternoon – created with Street Health clients, staff, and community members, and led by Red Dress Productions artists Anna Camilleri, Tristan R Whiston, and Katie Yealland.

This project was so much fun, and the fun is going to continue with 8 more weeks of art-making at Street Health starting in May!

Thanks to the Government of Ontario, the Ontario Arts Council, and community partners: All Saints Church, CRC, Houselink Community Homes and Regent Park CHC, Starbucks Coffee Canada, David Mintz Catering and AYS Party Rentals, for making this possible!

A detail of the new mosaic on the gate. The image shows the left corner of the piece with the words "Street Health" and two people standing, all created with porcelain or glass tiles.
